Metallic
Special metallic pigments give surfaces a brilliant effect. Sunlight or halogen lighting provides a special 'depth' to the coating.
Pearl
The elegant appearance:
Though a bit more subtle than metallic, pearl effects add sophistication to your products. Also available as water-thinnable, tumble coating.
Metal effect
Chroming with a spray gun.
The OSTROLUX special effects coatings are used for treating metallic surfaces such as chrome, gold, old silver, copper, titanium, iron, etc. Because each layer is extremely thin (3-5 mm), the effect also penetrates through to the underlayers. Available from matte to ultra-glossy.
Glitter
An eye-grabbing effect. In combination with a (preferably dark) basic coating, an amazing variety of interesting special effects can be produced. Tiny flaws under the surface will not be visible with a glitter effect.
Bi-color
Also called Flip-Flop. The colour effect changes according to the light placement and angle of reflection, for example from turquoise green to dark blue. Bi-color coating is especially attractive for arched parts, where both colour tones are visible at the same time.
Structured coating
Offers attractive surfaces at little expense. Structured coating is quite flexible and can be manipulated easily. For further details, >Structured coating.
Heat transfer printing
