belongs to the business
Tumbling is a special technique for the fast and cost-efficient coating of small wooden parts (for example, furniture handles, >toys, such as blocks, puzzle pieces or also paint brushes, curtain rings and technical wooden articles).
A decisive advantage
- No extra wage costs for affixing parts (in contrast to spraying or dipping)
- No paint loss through overspray
- The entire process (sanding, colouring, coating) can occur in the tumbler
- Extremely flexible: with one system, different types of surfaces (matte to ulta-glossy) can be achieved, according to the number of coats
- For inexpensive mass goods, a savings costs through staining (wood tone) and coating in the same work cycle
For smaller parts that will be decorated with pictures (puzzles, dice, etc.), we recommend the >heat transfer printing technique.
Pre-treatment
The lightening of wood through bleaching heightens the colour brilliance for coloured parts (information provided upon request).
New basic stain
If conventional bleaching is not possible, our newly developed basic stain can provide a light, homogenous result. The wood grain remains visible.
>ENOLIT-Colour-Concentrates provides colourful design. Glazed or fully-covered surfaces are possible, in white as well as special effect coatings such as pearl, metallic, etc.
